This
year has two distinct sides.
Mercury
lies in close proximity to your Sun which means that you are going to be
doing a lot of thinking and communicating with others. This conjunction
also lies at the point of a most fortunate Grand Trine configuration
indicating that there is success to be had. Some of your thoughts will
be serious and highly practical, looking to the long term with an
ambition in mind. Pluto also aids the process by giving you great
determination and that rare quality of insight, in other words the
ability to see behind the obvious. Whatever you have in mind, it looks
highly successful.
Of
great importance is the beneficial aspect from Pluto to your Sun because
this indicates a new phase in your life with the probability that a
major change is likely to occur that will see you going off in a new
direction, leaving part of the past behind in the process. As the Sun
rules you home and domestic life this could indicate a change of home or
at least positive changes in your existing circumstances. Resources are
being made available to you and any professional contacts are likely to
be very helpful, especially if agreements need to be made.
The
other side of the equation is more difficult to handle because it
involves your ruling planet - Venus - and a configuration of 4 planets
known as a Grand Cross. This tends to cause a degree of stagnation, a
feeling that things are set in a pattern and there seems to be no way
out. As Venus is also in the 12th House I would imagine that there are
going to be vague worries to contend with due to the inflationary
effects of this House. Things may actually seem worse than they really
are, and with your sensitivity at an all time high you could so easily
be blown off course by events that wouldn't normally bother you.
Temperament will play its part, so there will be times of enthusiasm
alternating with lethargy. Decision making may also be difficult due to
changeable feelings and longings that are difficult to satisfy.
