The Outlook Forecaster. Before commencing what is I hope a useful and enlightening journey through future trends, I feel I ought to give some explanations as to what astrology really is and how I arrive at the interpretations which follow.
Before reading this report, I want you to understand that astrology is not a bit of harmless ‘fun’, nor does it belong to the realms of superstition and the paranormal. Astrology is a science, albeit a science with apparently strange ideas quite outside the scope of what is considered to be ‘normal’. Yet, it should not be judged until it’s doctrine has been fully explored and understood. One should bear in mind that psychology, hypnosis, chiropractic, osteopathy and others were once considered as best belonging to the lunatic fringe. Now we know better. On the other hand, just because something is widely accepted does not mean that it is valid. I quote the example of the Flat Earth Theory, once generally believed to be the ‘truth’. Again, we now know better.
Astrology is a system that uses the apparent correlation existing between planetary positions at a specific point in time and the psychological traits and events in a person’s life. Every moment in time is different, some are more important than others - your birth time being the most important. Using the analogy of a photograph may help explain. A photograph captures not only a person or a scene on film, it also captures the moment in time when it was taken. The snapshot is unique in that it can never be taken again at that point in time. Whenever we look at the picture it has more than just visual impact, it brings back memories and stimulates our imagination. Astrology is very similar. An astrological chart - or horoscope - is a ‘snapshot’ of the heavens at a point in time, a ‘picture’ of the heavens which directs the mind of the trained astrologer along specific lines and enables him to arrive at conclusions. Like a photograph, your chart captures a moment in time which is unique to you which subsequently reveals the inherent potential contained therein.
But how can a planet countless millions of miles away from the Earth have an effect on a human life or influence his destiny? The answer is - they do not! The planets do not cause things to happen nor do they exert some strange influence as some believe. If you consider the analogy of a clock, things will become clear. The hands of the clock help you tell the time by their position. In astrology, the ‘hands’ become planets, and as each planet has specific meanings, so it is possible to ‘read’ the chart using what we astrologers call The Doctrine of Correspondences. This is an ancient system of classifying everything that exists - be this character traits, events or even physical objects - according to the type of consciousness responsible for its creation and existence. It is in fact a huge ‘filing cabinet’ using the planets as significators of precise types of consciousness. For example: The Sun is taken to represent the need to be, to exist, to live. It also represents who and what you are as an individual, as well as your self-expression, confidence, and general success. This, in turn, is modified by the Sign and House in which the Sun is placed together with aspects from other planets to give a unique assessment of your Solar characteristics and potential. So it is with all of the remaining planets.
There is a great deal of difference between the popular conception of astrology, as exhibited in ‘Sun-sign’ readings given in newspapers and magazines, and the real thing. In this country we have around 60 million inhabitants and if we divide this by the 12 Signs of the Zodiac there ought to be around 5 million people who are, say, Aquarians. It is therefore plainly quite absurd for every Aquarian to have exactly the same things happen to them on a particular day. Naturally, this gives the critics lots of ammunition. No self-respecting astrologer would subscribe to this fallacy because they realise astrology considers the whole person, the Sun-sign being only one factor among many.
Likewise, no credence is given to ‘lucky’ numbers, gemstones, so-called karmic forces, past lives, etc., as these are considered to be speculative or belonging to the realms of superstition.
This document is an Outlook Forecaster containing large amounts of specific and detailed interpretations which have been individually compiled for you. To get the maximum advantage from your purchase it is important that you take your time reading and absorbing the information contained in its pages.
Interpretations of your future are based on the use of four distinct astrological techniques.
Solar Return chart. Your Solar Return chart which is calculated for the exact time your Sun returns to its birth position. This is an excellent chart for deducing the overall picture for the year ahead.
The forecast is divided into two distinct parts. In part 1 we deal with your Solar Return. In Part 2, we deal with the planetary movements forming aspects to planets and Angles within your own chart. [Transits. Progressions & Directions]. For convenience they are given in date order. For each aspect formed you will see a description of the planets involved followed by the date when it reaches exactness and so maximum effect. These dates should not be taken as absolute for a variety of reasons. After this comes an indication of the likely strength of the aspect. Please don't take this literally as it is only an approximate guide. To date, no wholly accurate method of assessing planetary strength has been developed, the best we can do is approximate. I use just three indicators: Weak, Moderate & Strong. Events usually occur at or near the exact date, but due to the vagaries of the Cosmos they can occur at any time during the period when the aspect is in force.
I should stress that the traits given in this document are possibilities, not necessarily actualities. I have given the most likely traits based on astrological reasoning and what appears to be the most likely for you as an individual out of the many possibilities which exist.
To begin. Some Astrologers consider it good practice to concentrate only on the good traits, ignoring any difficulties in an attempt to paint a rosy picture. In my estimation this is quite wrong. Far better to give the whole picture rather than expose the client to unforeseen problems which could make the situation worse, so I hope you will excuse my frankness.
Most Astrological reports contain contradictions, or appear to do so. The reality is that contradictions occur almost all the time in our lives but we don't see them as such, instead we experience them as alternations in conditions, behavioural patterns or feelings. I mention this because there are instances here of such contradictions, both in your birth chart and in your future trends.
Your Solar Return Chart. This chart is calculated for the exact moment that the Sun returns to its birth position and gives rise to the expression 'Many happy returns'. It is used as a primary guide to assessing the likely future trends for the year ahead.
What has been significant, and to some extent still is, is that Pluto has been making a conjunction to your Sun and due to the larger orbs used in Solar Return charts will continue to do this for some years, producing a deep-rooted need for change.
In your current Solar Return, both planets are in the 12th House - an inspiring and yet worrisome position. Much is possible but it won’t be without some degree of emotional uncertainty and fears as to the future. The only problem with this combination is that it may initially cause a great deal of activity but eventually this will all recede leaving little in its wake. Far more important is the conjunction between Pluto and Venus, again in the 12th House, which through temporary rulership of your 10th House is capable of creating new and highly favourable conditions for growth.
Your Sun is also trine Saturn which will make you think long term and want to achieve something really worthwhile, and from this perspective you certainly can. My only concern with this chart is that it does show a degree of impatience - a need to push ahead but without really looking at the full consequences. This is also reiterated in the dynamic aspects. It is essential not to rush ahead, act on impulse, or make assumptions otherwise you risk making mistakes that are avoidable, but more to the point are very likely to come back to haunt you as repercussions. Your expectation may be high - perhaps too high at this time. Best to slow things down and take things one step at a time.
Your next Solar Return comes into force on your next birthday and lasts for one year.
Most planets are above the horizon, indicating that worldly matters and your career interests are likely to feature strongly, but there is also emphasis in the west, which suggests that dealing with people closely through partnerships and business arrangements will also feature strongly. Three planets in your 8th House suggests there are changes afoot, some of which could be far-reaching, and that financial matters will assume more importance than normal.
Your Ascendant lies in the Sign of Taurus, which means that you are taking a very practical approach to life, tending to be thoughtful, cautious, and practical. Financial matters and material security will also be on your mind. The ruler - Venus - lies in the highly emotional and intense Sign of Scorpio which would suggest that changes are in the offing and that you will be inclined to pursue your aims with an almost unstoppable determination. Venus is also in your 6th House which suggests that work is likely to be a prime focus for your attention this year.
Both Uranus and Mars aspect Venus creating a heady mixture of excitement and enthusiasm that propels you forward with little care about obstacles. However, you need to be careful because both planets are not well configured in you birth chart and this suggests that you may be rushing ahead and not looking at the full picture or seeing the snags. best to be more cautious and to avoid sudden, impulsive action or risk taking.
As expected, Pluto is still aspecting your Sun creating a strong need for change and at the same time some uncertainly and emotional disturbances. The focus this year lies in your 8th House, making the need for change even more acute and also placing heavy emphasis on financial matters. With Jupiter close by, you expectations are very high and fortune does appear to be favouring you.
You are likely to be behaving secretly, playing your cards close to your chest as they say. Some deep thinking is evident as you ponder your future direction and examine your aspirations. Jupiter is close to your Sun bringing in a lot of optimism and enthusiasm, a sort of ‘knowing’ that luck is on your side. But beware. Although this aspect gives the impression that all is well this is far from the case. What you have to be particularly careful of is financial matters. Your expectations are likely to be high but you may be missing vital details by allowing enthusiasm to govern your thoughts and actions. Take no risks and bear in mind that if it seems too good to be true - it probably is.
Your Sun is aspected by Uranus, creating tension and impulsiveness. You are likely to be very impatient and may be inclined to jump to conclusions or take risks, especially with regard to your career. However, in this case the outcome is favourable. The lesson here is that you can achieve just as much, probably more, through less effort. Slow down the pace and take your time. You may have to deal with awkward people or those who are deliberately obstructive. They are best avoided because no matter what you say or do they will never see things your way. In any case, they are not destined have any long term effects on you or your plans.
With Uranus now in your 10th House I think you can expect a certain amount of disruptive changes and tense conditions. Most of this will pass and in fact out of the difficulties will come some positive and unexpected benefits. You should be careful with certain people you work with because they may not be acting in your best interests even though things look quite promising. Treat people with due caution and make no concrete arrangements until you are absolutely sure of where things are really heading. Likewise, be careful with your expectations of people - they may be too high.
I should also mention that your Moon is in conjunction to Neptune, a powerful combination that will get your imagination flowing and give you the vision to see opportunities that others would miss. There will be times when you feel quite inspired. The focus here is in the 9th House, so it is quite possible that you will seeking to expand your horizons and reach out into the world. You may have to deal with people from far away or even travel, and such avenues could be very beneficial to you.
All in all this is a complicated picture, but the overriding message is that you can do well providing you act with caution and forethought.

APRIL 2008. Exact 7 Apr 2008 Influence strong. Active up to the exact date. In general. Saturn aspects Mars. During this period your life may become somewhat difficult, showing a long, hard slog with many obstacles and delays. Happiness may to be sacrificed on the altar of 'duty', with much responsibility having to be shouldered.
Your energies are fitful and temperamental, blowing hot and cold as mood dictates. Sometimes you are impatient to get on and may even rush into projects, other times it may be difficult to get motivated, or the obstacles seem too great to overcome. Most of the time it will feel rather like driving with the brakes on.
Your purpose in life is either fixed and inflexible or it lacks true purpose - you may even vary between the two. Sometimes you may have to battle for results - and they may hardly be worth the effort after the activity has died down. You could also become so determined that you take on far too much responsibility. You may come into contact with difficult people or conflict situations, neither of which are likely to resolve quickly. You are resistant to pressure or being forced into doing things against your will, but you may be over resistant or inflexible and this could in itself cause problems. Keep a balanced perspective.

Exact 11 Apr 2008 Influence very strong. Active up to the exact date. In general. Sun aspects Mercury. You will find yourself wrapped up in your own thoughts almost to the exclusion of everything else. Your one problem lies in perspective, which is too narrow. You will tend to think a lot and have good concentration but you will do this within narrow confines. If it pleases you - you learn, if it doesn't - you ignore it. In your chosen field you excel and can relate to the subject in great depth, but other interests and views on the periphery may be missed and, as a result, opportunities lost.
You will spend a great deal of time thinking about you as a person, what you would like to see happen in your life, and how you can express your views to the wider public. You may also be thinking about making changes in your life. Again, a narrow perspective which although rewarding in a personal sense can prevent you from seeing the wider picture. Care is needed not to be dogmatic or stubborn, or to regard your viewpoint as the only one worthy of consideration.
For sheer mental concentration and the application of what is learned this aspect has much to offer in the way of success and satisfaction. It is one thing to dream, and indeed constructive dreaming, or imaginative thinking, is the precursor to success, but it another to turn these dreams into reality. You have the ability to do both. This is a period in which your aspirations are lofty and your creative imagination is powerful, even visionary. You will see what you want and then set out to make this a reality, but you won't necessarily seek out the ordinary or the mundane. Chances are, you will succeed, but you need to have clearly defined goals backed up by practical plans before you begin, or what appeared to be a bright beginning could turn out to be a disappointment. You are helped by being clean-minded and honest - you will prefer to deal with people in a straightforward, up-front, manner. This is a time when responsibility and burdens appear, often indicating a slow, lonely path towards your goals. You may have to live your life within confines and well defined boundaries. Success comes slowly and may depend on working towards then inheriting a position previously held by someone else - sometimes this is done through family connections. Your need for security in life is high at the moment and you will work very hard to attain and maintain this.
You are concerned with practical down to earth matters You are conscientious and diligent in what you do and have a strong sense of duty. Whatever you do you try to do well. Your powers of organising and control are excellent and you are quite likely to take on responsibility and enjoy it.
Your thinking will tend to be serious, along set lines, within well defined confines. You have great patience and can study for long periods. Because your thinking tends to be organised and tidy you tend to grasp the overall structure then fit everything into the plan. You may grow to like older, well established subjects.
Relationships could be connected to your ambitions rather than for purely romantic reasons. In any case, you probably find it difficult to express your feelings openly. You would be looking to long-term commitment and will be very loyal to the people close to you. JANUARY 2008 - JANUARY 2009. Entering 11 Jan 2008 Influence strong. Active for 1 year after the entry date. In general. Venus aspects Jupiter. This configuration offers great potential, especially in financial terms, providing the inherent problems can be overcome.
Your feelings could be susceptible causing you to bite off more than you can chew. You are likely to want so much, you may feel you deserve it, but you may not look at the consequences of your actions. You may find it is difficult to gratify your appetite for life's benefits.
Waste is likely to be one of your biggest problems. You need to guard against being extravagant especially when you can't afford it as this will inevitably cause financial problems. You will tend to want to jump ahead of yourself, acquiring clothes, household goods, holidays, anything to satisfy your need for ease and luxury, secretly hoping that it will all come right or that someone kindly will make up the deficit. Logic may tell you it isn't true, but your feelings may well override your logic. Plans for money making need care as they are perhaps overly optimistic or not thought out carefully and may therefore come unstuck. NOVEMBER 2007. Exact 14 Nov 2007, Influence strong. Active for 6 weeks up to the exact date. In general. Pluto aspects Saturn. Your desire for personal freedom is extremely high, but may not be easy to attain. Consequently, you will feel great frustration which may result in explosive emotions from time to time.
This aspect gives tremendous powers of endurance and the ability to make the most out of the least. You may find that you have need of these abilities during this time when circumstances conspire to produce difficulties which demand determination and staying power if they are to be overcome. Life may be punctuated with major changes - involving your ambitions in life, or property - which could be highly charged and emotionally upsetting until the new pattern emerges. Your tenacity and resolve will see you through.
You have the type of mind at the moment which is ideally suited to deep concentration and deliberate, disciplined thinking, very good for making long term plans or studying.
Your ability to refine existing patterns is quite wonderful. You can take something that is ailing and breathe new life into it, or reorganise it so that it works better by shedding the outmoded. This is also a good time to make major changes in direction but you need to keep things under control and act slowly and deliberately rather than jumping in at the deep end.

The one thing you have to take on board is that part of your mind is now suggestible and easily influenced, leaving you wide open to impractical ideas which could turn out to be costly. You may tend to believe that anything is possible, yet ignore facts suggesting there may be a flaw in case it bursts the bubble, so to speak. This could leave you wide open.
Your life may be blighted by treacherous people who will latch onto you for their own selfish reasons. Yet your sensitive and trusting nature could get in the way of doing the right thing, perhaps hoping that things will come right in the end. Some people may try to deceive you and take advantage of your gullibility for their own selfish ends - they take all yet give little and make promises which are unlikely to be fulfilled. Be careful when dealing with those who appear to have 'instant' answers to your problems, or shortcuts to success - they are baiting the hook with which to snare you. In all things, keep a sense of perspective as well as both feet on the ground, and take heed of the warning signals.
You are unduly sensitive and may find it hard to face up to life's problems which you are then inclined to avoid or try to escape from. Problems never go away, so this is not a feasible proposition. You have to overcome your reluctance and do whatever is necessary if you are to avoid turning a difficulty into a major problem.
Your imagination will tend to wander at this time, so worry may be a real problem. Moral or religious difficulties may occur which are hard to resolve, they seem to go round and round in your mind. You need to ask the question; Are these thoughts doing any good? If not - reject them. With practice, your mind will soon be calmer and happier.
Specifically. As Saturn rules your career this could be a confusing and worrisome time in which it will be difficult to see what really lies ahead. Best to act with caution and not allow yourself to be blown off course or unduly affected by people or circumstances. FEBRUARY 2008. Exact 3 Feb 2008, Influence: Strong. Active for approximately 1 month prior to exact date. In general. Uranus aspects Mars. Your personality has a magnetic quality which immediately suggests to people that you know what you are doing and have the confidence and expertise to do it. You don't like to be ordered about, as anyone who has tried this well knows. Your role is to lead, take the initiative, and do things your own way. If placed in a supporting role you will soon find this unsatisfactory and feel the need to be more prominent. You are able to motivate people into action and lead from the front. If the conditions are tough, you don't mind. In fact you will rise to the occasion displaying courage and boldness. 'When the going is tough - the tough get going', sums you up.
You have a powerful will which steps aside for no one. Your determination to go your own way, think your own thoughts and be whatever you want to be is very strong. Once you take the initiative - which you usually do very quickly, you are hard working and fearless should the need arise. You let nothing stand in your way and keep going when others would have given up. Your unconventional approach may surprise people, but you do get results. Your only drawback is that you can be a little erratic sometimes.
Your mind is quick and able, coming to decisions rapidly without having to go through the process of logical reasoning. You grasp what needs to be done, then act immediately. In many ways you are a progressive thinker capable of inventive and original thoughts and solutions to problems. Rules and regulations are all very well - unless they get in the way!
This combination of planets does not make for an easy ride through life, though. The resulting nervous tension can make you impatient and irritable. You don't suffer fools gladly and you are prone to explode from time to time. The pressure may also cause you to behave erratically or even disruptively if you feel restricted or your path is blocked.

Exact 8 Feb 2008, Influence: Strong. Active for approximately 1 month prior to exact date. In general. Uranus aspects the Moon. You will tend to go your own way and do your own thing regardless. Your need for personal freedom is high and you won't like to be restricted or confined.
Your relationship with people is likely to be strained. Sometimes you may attract the wrong sort of people who prove to be unreliable, or not disposed to doing things the way you would like. Sudden partings and disruptive endings are possible. You have this need to be with people and yet you may tend to be remote and even a little aloof, which won't endear you to certain people. There are times when you may withdraw from the social scene if people appear to threaten your independence.
Your emotions are subject to tension, making you a little edgy. You can be quite touchy or over excitable and it will be hard to rest or relax. Sometimes the inner pressure may push you to extremes of action or erratic behaviour; you are likely to change your mind and your direction very quickly, but not always looking where you are heading. It is equally possible that you embark on a course of action you know is wrong but somehow you can't seem help yourself.
Your mind may become absorbed in unusual pursuits. You like things that are different or novel, advanced or progressive. You have little interest in anything other than your pet subject or project. Also, you are unlikely to listen to advice or ideas that run contrary to your beliefs and you could be quite abrupt with folk if you feel you need to. You may even override or ignore your own inner promptings when they rise up to warn you of impending problems. Best to slow down the pace and take time out to relax.
Your domestic life is likely to be tense and may suffer from upheavals and disruption with sudden, unexpected happenings, or you may suddenly decide to change things around, make alterations, or even move home. Again, best to slow down and take stock rather than act on impulse.
Specifically. Any financial matters need utmost care during this highly volatile period. Avoid jumping to conclusions or going out on a limb.
Exact 15 Feb 2008, Influence: Strong. Active for approximately 6 weeks prior to exact date. In general. Pluto aspects Venus. Your feelings are likely to be very intense and one pointed. You know what you want and you will go all out to get it. There are no gray areas - it is all or nothing.
A relationship could begin as an intense, passionate affair which then evolves through time getting stronger all the while. It could be an intense and transforming experience in which you learn and gain much, often resulting in personal change as well. Existing relationships could change quite dramatically and open up in a new direction. Your artistic expression at this time could be considerable, or you may simply have an intense interest in some aspect of the arts. You may fall in love with beauty in all its forms.
In financial matters you may be secretive about your aims and aspirations, preferring to keep things to yourself until the time is right to act. You may have an instinctive feel for money matters at this time and should be able to spot opportunities. A complete new phase in your financial affairs could see you profiting in some way.
Specifically. With Venus being placed in your 6th House of work this could be an important time involving major changes,. You could do well here.
Exact 29 Feb 2008 Influence: Strong. Active for approximately 1 month prior to exact date. In general. Neptune aspects your Sun. During this period of your life things are destined to change, not in sudden, dramatic ways, but more of a gradual dissolving away of previous boundaries. Some things will move out of life to make way for something better.
