George Michael is in the headlines again and for all the wrong reasons.
George has his Sun in the 12th House, which gives him his undoubted creative talent in bucket loads and contributes greatly to his lasting popularity and worldwide fame. A nice sextile from Uranus adds a measure of ingenuity and spontaneity. However, there is always a problem with 12th House planets - even if they are well aspected - in that periods of confusion, muddles and scandals are always a possibility. Some form of neurosis is also common. Needless to say that things do eventually settle down again with little or so permanent harm.
Neptune is currently transiting and forming a tricky sesquiquadrate aspect to his Sun, so the previously mentioned problems are now more likely to be in evidence and will continue to cause problems for much of this year. George needs to be very careful or there could be more carelessness and consequent revelations. His Solar return chart - which is highly stressed this year - has this aspect too, thereby aggravating the situation. I would imagine he feels pretty confused and worried at the moment.
I note that his natal chart shows that the ruler of the 12th - Mercury - is badly aspected by Neptune. Neurosis is highly likely leading to various forms of escapism, drugs and alcohol being the main distractions. Also, George is very sensitive and easily swayed by those with a vested interest in using others for their own ends, or complete idiots who indulge in the silliest of fantasies. He needs to remove such people from his life and seek the company and advice of genuine people.
The current phase is likely to pass with no apparent harm but in the long term he really needs to put in the effort to get his life back on track and be the person he really is rather than a shadow of his former self.
