What
drives him? Self interests together with secret plans and ambitions.
All
of his planets are pushed over into the Eastern Hemisphere, indicative of
a man who is self seeking and determined to go his own way.
His
Sun lies in the 12th House, mainly afflicted, so it is fair to say that he
is a highly secretive person who plays his cards close to his chest. He
has a need to be part of a greater plan, perhaps seeing himself as a
saviour of mankind, and although he is determined and hard working has a
strategy which is basically flawed and probably unworkable, thanks to
afflictions from Jupiter and Neptune. In short, what he sees in his mind's
eye just isn't feasible. Also, the advice he is given is either not
understood and acted on or is flawed.
Even
more critical is the positioning of Saturn in the 12th and the fact that
it is unaspected and therefore unpredictable. Here is a man conditioned by
family influences to accept duty and responsibility above all else. It
must weigh heavily on his soul and restrict his life considerably. He is
driven by a 'master plan' for the world and sees himself at the helm. But,
as with most 12th House planets, confusion of aims together with over-idealised
plans do not make for a successful strategy. There are serious flaws
because he doesn't see the reality of his vision and fails to see or grasp
the practicalities. Iraq is a prime example of ill thought out strategy
powered by idealism.
With
the Sun empowering his natal Mars his determination to succeed has been
strong, even one-pointed, but this is due to run out in June so we may see
a change. Neptune - always a planet to cause scandal and deception -
afflicts his natal Sun adding to much of what has already been said. He
will be hard pressed to keep a lid on things and there could be further
revelations to cause discomfort.
What
now? Uranus is set to put pressure on his natal Mercury indicating a
stubborn refusal to see anything other than his own ideas - ideas that are
seriously flawed. Attacks on his nature are likely to increase as a
result, but this is unlikely to deter a man who sees himself making the
world a better place - but for whom?
At
the same time, Uranus is also closing in on his natal Mars leading to
erratic behaviour and a stubborn resistance to listen to reason. We have
all seen how Bush can completely ignore the wishes of others, now is the
time for more if this. Knee-jerk reactions and the use of force are likely
to become the order of the day, some of which will backfire. He is likely
to make powerful enemies.
The
periods from March to April and from July to August are dangerous times
for Bush. Trouble is likely to strike quickly and without warning.
Accidents are possible, so he should resist any urges to act impulsively.
There is also the possibility of attempts to harm him. He would be well
advised to strengthen his security.
