Good
morning.
4th
June 2008. It's Mercury retrograde time again.
Okay,
I won't labour the point about Mercury retrogrades causing the usual
rash of web site crashes, communication breakdowns, lost mail, and
general delays. It happens every time the planet appears to move
backwards in the heavens; some periods are worse than others.
What
I want to draw you attention to is the remarkable fact that with Mercury
retrogrades there is quite often a revisiting of past events, and this
can have some positive benefits. Agreements that were not quite right
can be put right, misunderstandings can be rectified, old or half
forgotten contacts may suddenly come to prominence bringing new
possibilities. It gives us a second chance to put right mistakes or
renew old acquaintances, and may even start a process of rethinking old
concepts in the light of new information.
Oh,
I forgot to mention. Using the strange logic of Jonathan Cainer
this will mark the beginning of a major change of huge benefit to the
world, especially in finances [According to Jonathan, Mercury rules
financial matters. It doesn't, but who cares, this is Sun Sign nonsense
after all]. And fairies will dance in Hyde Park! [Just as likely].
17th
June 2008. What's your birthday?
We
all know our birthday - or we think we do. 'Many happy returns' is
often spoken to mark the occasion and yet most people accept it without
wondering what it means.
One
of the most important charts used by Astrologers in assessing future
trends is the Solar Return chart. It is quite popular on the Continent
but not as well known in Great Britain despite the attempts of some
informed Astrologers to bring this to prominence. This chart is cast for
the exact moment when the Sun returns to its birth position, hence the
name Solar Return - hence the term 'many happy returns'. As a
guide to the future it simply cannot be surpassed yet surprisingly few
Astrologers see fit to make use of insight that this chart supplies.
Without it, the Astrologer has to depend on Transits and Progressions,
and while these are useful they are not in themselves a complete guide
to the future. Fake Astrologers cobble together reports based solely on
these, which is why they fail to come up to expectations.
You
were born on a particular date and that date is used to mark your
birthday each year from then on but the reality of the matter is that
the true measure of your actual birthday is when the Sun returns to its
exact birth position and this does not necessarily occur in the same day
each year. In fact your real birthday can be a day earlier or a day
later - it all depends on the exact time the Sun returns to its birth
position. So, your birthday is a convenient date, you real birthday can
be quite different from year to year.
